Frequently Asked Questions
The League Format
How do I record my scores? We use the EZ Golf League App. Before you tee off, you must "Call Your Shot" by starting a round in the app. Once finished, your digital card must be signed/verified by a fellow league member or playing partner to be valid.
Do I have to play at the same course every week? No! That’s the beauty of Graft Golf. You can play at any course you like. However, to keep things fair and varied, a maximum of 2 cards from your "Home Course" (or any single course) will count toward your final season standings.
What if I have a nightmare round? We’ve all been there. Your league standing is based on your Best 6 Scores out of 10. If you really want to scrub a bad day off the record, you can purchase up to 2 Substitute Cards to replace your lowest scores.
Handicaps & Divisions
Do I need an official handicap? Yes. To keep the competition fierce but fair, all players must have a valid WHS (World Handicap System) handicap.
Which division will I be in?
-
Division 1: Handicaps 0 – 18
-
Division 2: Handicaps 19 – 36 Your division is determined by your handicap at the start of the season.
The Majors
What happens at the Major Events? The Majors (like our season opener at Styal Golf Club) are the crown jewels of our calendar. These are fixed-date events where the whole league comes together. Expect live leaderboards, "Longest Drive" and "Closest to the Pin" challenges, followed by food, drinks, and live entertainment at the clubhouse.
Is food included in my membership? For members on the Full Subscription, entry to the Majors (including the hospitality and entertainment) is fully covered. For "Pay-As-You-Play" golfers, a separate event fee will apply.
Prizes & Membership
When are the winners announced? While the live leaderboard updates throughout the season, the official winners, cash prizes, and the Champions Blazers are awarded at our Grand Finale event at the end of the season.
Can I join the league halfway through the season? Yes! Because we only take your best 6 scores, you can join late and "Graft" your way up the leaderboard. However, the earlier you start, the more chances you have to post a winning score.
